Kathryn M. Schilling’s practice focuses primarily on False Claims Act litigation. She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University of Maryland in 1993 and earned her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 1997. Ms. Schilling was a staff member on the Rutgers Law Journal from 1995-1996, and she was an editor from 1996-1997. She also authored a scholarly article entitled “Developments in State Constitutional Law: 1995 – Equal Protection,” 27 Rutgers L.J. 1074 (1995).
Ms. Schilling has extensive experience in trial and appellate litigation in federal and state courts, with an emphasis in complex commercial cases. From 2005 to 2011, Ms. Schilling was consistently selected as a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” based on a statewide survey of Pennsylvania lawyers and judges. In 2012, Ms. Schilling was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.
Ms. Schilling is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. She is admitted to practice in:
- United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit
- United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit
- United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle District of Pennsylvania
- United States Tax Court
Her professional associations include the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery Bar Associations. Ms. Schilling also currently serves on the Whitpain Township Zoning Hearing Board.
